Painted Cat started with an intuition: today's consumer wants more than wine. They want a visual experience, an inside joke, a bottle worthy of the table and Instagram.

From Lisbon to the world.

We work with trusted small Portuguese producers. Grapes, regions and cellars are chosen for consistency year after year — even in markets where the consumer doesn't know Touriga Nacional.

The wine inside is serious. The bottle outside is fun. There's no contradiction — there's intent.

Eight wines, eight scenes.

Each reference shows a city, a moment, a ritual. Nocturnal Lisbon with trams. Daytime Lisbon with the yellow city. A Parisian café for cats only. A rural harvest. A beach in August. A Venetian gondola. An absurd race. A comic bullfight.

They are works by a family of partner illustrators, with a unified brief but creative freedom in each scene. The result: variety within coherence.
